  • Identify cultural partnerships with Noongar Elders.

Phase 2: DESIGN – Co-Create Blueprint

July 2026 – June 2027 (or upon securing funding)

Focus: Community engagement and strategy development.

Key Actions:

  • Host Community Visioning Forums and thematic workshops (wellness, heritage, creativity).

  • Conduct a Visitor Economy Audit to assess assets and growth opportunities.

  • Draft the core Blueprint framework and develop a brand narrative.

Phase 3: LAUNCH – Strategy in Action

Commencing July 2027 (or sooner if possible)

Focus: Formalizing and publicizing the vision

Key Actions:

  • Publish the final document endorsed by the Chamber, Shire, and BGTA.

  • Launch a digital platform featuring regional maps, itineraries, and storytelling.

  • Initiate activation projects such as creative trails and signage.

Phase 4: EMBED – Build Capacity and Measure Impact

July 2027 – August 2028

Focus: Long-term sustainability and performance evaluation.

Key Actions:

  • Develop a Tourism Investment Prospectus to attract aligned businesses.

  • Deliver training programs for local operators in marketing and cultural protocols.

  • Prepare a follow-on Three-Year Implementation Plan (2028–2031).
